Who We Are

ALIGN Executive Partners (“ALIGN,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. We are based in Kingston, Jamaica. We have not named a data protection officer. Privacy requests go to info@alignjm.com.

What This Covers

This notice covers alignjm.com and messages you send us through it. Jamaican law, including the Data Protection Act, 2020, applies. We apply this notice to everyone who uses the site.

What We Collect, and Why

The contact form asks for your name, email address, company, and message. We use those details to reply and to take the next steps toward working together. Sending the form is voluntary. If you do not send it, we cannot reply through the form. You can still email us directly.

The ALIGN Club waitlist asks for your email address only. We use it to tell you when ALIGN Club opens. Joining is voluntary, and it is your consent for those updates only. We will not use that address for any other promotion. Every waitlist message includes a free way to stop, without a special form or an extra step.

We do not add people who use the contact form to a marketing list unless they ask us to. If you write to us by email, we use what you send for the same purpose as the message.

What We Do Not Collect

• We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.
• We do not sell personal data.
• We do not ask for sensitive personal data, such as health information, biometrics, political opinions, or criminal records.
• This site is not for anyone under 18.

Technical Data

The company that hosts this website may keep short security logs, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested. Those logs are used to run and protect the site. We expect them to be kept for up to 90 days, unless a longer period is needed to investigate abuse.

Who We Share With

We share personal data only as needed to operate the site and to reply to you:

• The company that hosts the website, so the site can run
• The service that delivers our email, so we can receive and answer messages
• Professional advisers, or a Jamaican authority, when the law requires us to disclose the information

We do not sell personal data.

Outside Jamaica

The website host or the email service may process personal data outside Jamaica in order to provide those services. We do not send your details overseas for any other reason. We host the typefaces used on this site ourselves, so loading a page does not send your IP address to a font provider.

How Long We Keep It

• Enquiries: 24 months after our last reply, unless the conversation becomes a client engagement
• Client records: for the engagement, and for up to 6 years after it ends, unless the law requires a longer period
• Waitlist addresses: until you ask us to remove the address, or for 24 months after our last message if you do not respond

How to Exercise Your Rights

Write to info@alignjm.com. We may ask for enough detail to confirm it is you. A parent or guardian may make a request for someone under 18.

• Access: you may ask whether we hold your personal data, what we use it for, who we share it with, and for a copy. Where it is feasible, you may ask us to send data you provided to another controller in a commonly used electronic format. We respond within 30 days. A fee may apply where the law allows one.
• Correction: you may ask us to correct inaccurate personal data. We decide within 30 days. If we do not make the change, we note the correction you asked for with the record and tell you.
• Stop processing: you may write to ask us to stop, or not to begin, processing your personal data where the Data Protection Act allows that request. We answer in writing within 21 days, including where the law does not require us to stop.
• Direct marketing: you may withdraw consent for ALIGN Club updates at any time, free of charge, by using the stop option in a message or by emailing us.

We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing.

Security

Access to enquiry and waitlist records is limited to people who need them to reply or to send the update you asked for.

Changes

When this notice changes, we update the date at the top of this page.
